Travel from Nairobi early in the morning to Samburu, a harsh semi-desert region in the north that is home to some species that are rarely found elsewhere. Among them are reticulated giraffes, grevy's zebra, kuchi, Somali ostriches, Beisa oryxes, genenuk, vulturines, and guinea fowl. Get there in time for the afternoon game drive and lunch. Day 2
A full day in Samburu includes an optional visit to Samburu villages and game drives in the morning and afternoon. Dinner and spending the night at a campsite
Day 3
Early morning game drive; following breakfast, leave for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon; lunch is served en route.
