Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Overview

Our 3 days Ngorongoro, Serengeti budget safari aims at people who have very short time and budgets. And, are dying to go on the safari of a lifetime. We value you! Above all, these parks are the most visited National Parks in Tanzania. This 3 Days camping safari is a suggested or sample Safari Itinerary. And, can change to suit your needs and preferences depending on seasonal changes and migratory animal movements.

The accommodation facilities are budget public campsites. Therefore, visitors are sleeping in safari tents in which there are thick form mattresses and pillows. Note that sleeping bags are missing. Please, bring one with you or else, let us know to arrange it for you at a low-cost charge!

Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast is taken early in the morning to allow an early departure through the Ngorongoro Crater and with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge and over to the Serengeti National park. You will enter Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate and go ahead with game drives throughout the afternoon then later drive to the tented camp overnight. Dinner and overnight are at one of the Seronera Public Campsites in the middle of the park.

Day 2

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Waking up to a new day for an early game viewing here is advantageous. The nocturnal predators retire from a night out in the plains. So, you may go for an early morning game drive before returning for breakfast. And then, the rest of the day is spent on a game drive until later afternoon. Some of the animals on these endless plains are lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, zebras, topis, buffalos, etc. It is also home to many kinds of birds over 500. Soon after a hot lunch, you’ll head back to Naab Hill gate for checking out the park. From here, a drive proceeds for about 2 hours to Simba Public Campsite (on crater rim) for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha

This day we will start early morning for the game drive with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 610 meters high walls. So, you can expect to see a lot of animals. The animals here are lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos, jackals, antelopes, and others. Your Driver-guide will amaze you with his skill at locating hidden animals. After great all exploration in the crater, the drive back to Arusha will take place. For overnight and dinner at your camp.
